Who we are

Local Launch provides website, booking, and business automation services for local businesses in the United Kingdom.

If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact hello@local-launch.co.uk.

What we collect

We collect the contact and business details you provide directly, such as your name, business name, phone number, email address, and the information you send through our forms.

If you connect Google Calendar through our onboarding flow, we collect and use the specific Google Calendar data needed to provide the feature, including the selected calendar ID, calendar name, and a refresh token that allows the system to create, read, update, and delete booking events on your chosen calendar.

How we use your data

We use your information to respond to enquiries, deliver requested services, manage booking integrations, create or update booking events, and provide support.

We only use Google Calendar access to operate the booking features requested by the connected client. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, resale, or any unrelated purpose.

How we protect sensitive data

We take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect personal and sensitive data in transit and at rest. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections where supported by our hosting and service providers.

Sensitive credentials such as Google refresh tokens are stored server-side only, are not exposed to the browser, and are encrypted before storage. Access to administrative systems and stored credentials is restricted to authorised personnel who need that access to operate and support the service.

Data sharing and service providers

We may use carefully selected service providers to host the application and support the booking workflow, including infrastructure, database, email, and Google API services.

We do not sell Google user data or personal data to third parties. We only share data where necessary to provide the service, comply with the law, protect the service, or at your direction.

Retention and deletion

We keep data only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements.

You can ask us to delete connected Google Calendar data or disconnect the integration at any time. Disconnecting Google Calendar stops future booking access, and we will remove stored integration credentials from our system.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or disconnection of your data at any time by contacting us.

If you connected Google Calendar, you can also revoke Local Launch access from your Google account permissions.
